Democratic Party Supports Isran-Hadi in East Kalimantan Gubernatorial Election
On August 10, 2024, the Democratic Party officially announced its support for the incumbent pair, Isran Noor and Hadi Mulyadi, in the upcoming East Kalimantan Regional Head Election (Pilkada Kaltim).
The announcement was made by the General Chair of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), during a ceremony in Jakarta on Friday (9/8).
“On this occasion, we provide support to Isran Noor as a candidate for governor of East Kalimantan, and Hadi Mulyadi as a candidate for deputy governor of East Kalimantan,” said AHY.
AHY explained that the Democratic Party’s decision to support Isran-Hadi was based on their impressive leadership performance during the development of East Kalimantan in the previous period.
The son of the Sixth President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), expressed confidence in the pair’s ability to address the challenges facing East Kalimantan and bring positive change to the region.
