From today, 1 liter of AI-95 motor gasoline will cost 1.60 manat. As reported by Day.Az, SOCAR published the relevant information on 30.06.2024.
It was reported that the cost of 1 liter of locally produced AI-95 gasoline, which meets Euro-5 quality standards, will be 1.60 manat from July 15, 2024, decreasing by 40 qepigs in accordance with the market situation.
It was noted that in order to bring the products of the SOCAR oil refining complex up to Euro-5 standards, work on the initial stage of reconstruction and modernization at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (OR) is nearing completion.
Work on the construction of diesel and gasoline production units has been completed, and a number of general plant economic units and process units have been commissioned. As a result of the work done, the motor gasoline of the AI-92 and AI-95 grades produced at the refinery has already been brought up to Euro-5 standards.
Thus, AI-95 motor gasoline, the domestic demand for which from 2014 to the present has been met by imports at world prices, will be met by domestic production.
It should be noted that until now the cost of 1 liter of domestically produced AI-95 gasoline, which meets Euro-5 quality standards, was 2 manats.
