outlining a three-part framework to decelerate rapid capability leaps that he argues are outpacing existing safety guardrails.
Escalating Capability Risks and the Threat of Rogue Swarms
Amodei’s primary concern centers on recursive self-improvement—the point at which AI systems gain the capability to build subsequent generations of AI without human intervention.
