The executive committee and general committee meeting was held today (11/07/2022) at 09.15 am under the chairmanship of ADMK’s president Tamilmahan Usain at the Sri Varu Venkatasalapati wedding hall in Wanakaram, Chennai.
In this, Edappadi Palaniswami was appointed as the interim general secretary of the party. The General Committee removed four persons namely O. Panneerselvam, Vaithilingam, Manoj Pandian and J. C. D. Prabhakaran from all responsibilities including basic membership of the party for acting against the principles and principles of the party. Dindigul Srinivasan has been appointed as the treasurer of the party.
In this case, former MLA from Theni district. Zakhaiyan, former district deputy secretary Murukodai Ram, former MP and district Anna union secretary Parthiban, Theni city secretary Krishnakumar, treasurer Solairaj, Andipatti West union secretary Lograjan, East union secretary Varadarajan all supported the EPS. Similarly, most of the general assembly members from all the districts expressed their support for EPS. Subsequently, EPS was selected as the interim general secretary in the general committee. Subsequently, a resolution was passed to remove the basic member from all responsibilities, including the post of OBS treasurer. EPS supporters all over Tamil Nadu are celebrating it. Accordingly, AIADMK members are celebrating by bursting firecrackers and offering sweets in support of EPS in Theni district, the hometown of former AIADMK coordinator OPS.
Led by Theni AIADMK city council president Murugesan, the AIADMK members gathered at the Nehru statue three-way junction near the old bus stand and Allinagaram bus stand area raised slogans of ‘Long live Interim General Secretary EPS’. After bursting firecrackers and offering sweets, they expressed their happiness. Supporters of Jakkaiyan, who are supporting EPS, celebrated by bursting firecrackers and offering sweets in Kambam area.
