Heavy traffic congestion has occurred on the Maduravayal-Vanakaram road where the AIADMK general body meeting is being held.
AIADMK general body convenes today amid clashes between O. Panneerselvam and Edappadi Palanisamy over a single leadership issue. AIADMK Executive Committee and General Committee are being held at Srivaru Venkatajalapathy Palace in Vanakaram next to Chennai.
AIADMK volunteers, executives and general body members are flocking to Vanakaram in vehicles from outside to attend the meeting. This has caused heavy traffic congestion on the Maduravayal-Vanakaram road.
Vehicles are crawling from Coimbatore flyover to Maduravayal. Thus the public going to work and the students going to school-college suffered greatly. Traffic police are involved in trying to fix this traffic jam.
