AIADMK general committee meeting will be held on July 11 at Vanaraka, Chennai. An invitation has been sent to all the members of the General Committee regarding participation in the General Committee meeting.
In this situation, O. Panneerselvam has filed a new petition in the Chennai High Court seeking a ban on the AIADMK general meeting to be held on July 11.
In that petition, according to the party rules, any meetings including the general committee, executive committee, etc. must be approved by the coordinator and co-coordinator. It is against the party rules that the chairman announced the next general meeting on 11th. The petition said that the general body meeting convened on July 11 without the approval of the coordinator and co-coordinator should be banned.
The petition filed by O. Panneerselvam is said to be heard in the Madras High Court tomorrow.
