In the day August 9th, at 9 pm, International Cinema Academy (AIC) celebrates a milestone: its 20 years of dedication to national cinema. Have a party “AIC in the Land of the Sun” will take place Cortina Film Club and it promises to be a special moment of celebration, pride and meeting between students, teachers and professionals who participate in this journey.
The school was founded in 2004 by Steven RitcherFlavia Rocha and Adriano Diniz in Curitiba (PR), in parallel with the relaunch of the National Cinema. Over the years, the history of the University has been intertwined with the development of the Brazilian audio market, with resistance to political hardships and a pandemic. Today, with 20 years of work, AIC is proud to be part of the trail of countless professionals in the Brazilian audio market, with more than 28 thousand trained students and more than 4500 films do in the school.
To celebrate, there is nothing better than getting together with friends, enjoying special drinks and dancing a lot to celebrate AIC and national cinema. There is a ticket Sympla.
Cinema and Market Week
Have a party “AIC in the Land of the Sun” will take place shortly after the end of the 12th Cinema and Market Week, an event that marks the beginning of the school semester and will address “New Exhibitions of the Audiovisual Market”. In this edition, AIC will have the opportunity of accepting professionals who work or have worked on major audio platforms and companies, such as Netflix, Globoplay, Produtora Gullane, SPcine, among others, to discuss about the future of cinematographic stories, new possibilities for actors and actresses, as well as the internationalization of national works and diversity and inclusion in productions.
Film and Market Week will take place from August 5th to 9th, from 7pm to 8:30pm, at the AIC center (Rua Doutor Gabriel dos Santos, 142), with free entry and open to the public. Register via the link.
