AIC students organize short film exhibition

This Sunday will have the premiere of MOCA – AI Short Film FestivalC, the first exhibition organized by the students of the International Film Academy. The aim is to promote cinematographic works made at the school and to encourage independent art.

MOCA will take place from 2 pm to 10 pm, at Rua Luís Gois, 1604, in Mirandópolis. Admission is free, and the event promises to delight lovers of the seventh art.

The initiative came about after the former student of Técnico in Acting for Cinema and TV, Bruna Alves, participate in the filming of a short film for the conclusion of the Semester Film course. With the idea of ​​presenting these productions to the public, the MOCA.

“Disseminating the films was like a seed for the event; the show will provide an opportunity to give visibility to productions and allow people to have access to cinema, school and education in a unique way. We want to encourage artistic entrepreneurship, open space for independent artists and transform our art into a business”, highlighted Bruna.

During the event, four films that marked the completion of the cinema course will be shown: Neighbor Faithdirected by Allison Rodrigues; pandora’s reflectiondirected by Rodolfo Paganelli; confraternization, directed by Lenny Esteves; It is The Last Floordirected by the duo Gabi Moura and Adriano Sato.

In order to promote independent artists, during the break between exhibitions, there will be several presentations, such as pocket shows, poetry and clowning. In addition, there will be a chat about the challenges of independent cinema with the AIC professor, Gabriel Muglia, and the presentation of the solo “Spleen laugh crying”, by the professor Daniel Granieri.
