AICM given first place in punctuality

Ciriumthe international civil aviation consultancy published the results of its analysis for the month of August and placed the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) like the most punctual in the world.

According to Cirium, the capital’s terminal achieved 84.33% of on-time departures and 98.04% flight tracking, registering a total of 26,258 flights during August.

Last month, AICM was ranked fifth in the same category.
According to the publication, AICM has now surpassed Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which took second place.

Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport came in third place, Lima, Peru’s Jorge Chávez Airport came in fourth, and El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, Colombia came in fifth.

Gone are the airports of Oslo in Norway, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City in the United States, and Abu Dhabi Zayed in the United Arab Emirates.
