In its monitoring report of the livestock identification operation for Aid Al Adha 1445/2024, the regional directorate of agriculture in Fez-Meknes judges the available offer “satisfactory” in terms of quantity and quality.

Regarding the condition of animals intended for slaughter, the same source describes it as “good” in Fez-Meknes, a region exporting livestock, notably the Timahdit sheep breed, to other large cities.
