The group ILLIT’s ‘Magnetic’ is continuing its long-term popularity streak.
According to the agency Belift Lab on the 19th, the title song ‘Magnetic’ from Ailit’s (Yoona, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, and Iroha) first mini-album ‘SUPER REAL ME’ was streamed a total of 499,687,900 times on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform, as of the 17th.
It has been 176 days since the song was released on March 25th. This is the shortest period of time for a debut song by a K-pop group to reach the same number of streams on Spotify.
Ailitt has shown their presence among 5th generation girl groups by dominating domestic and international music charts with “Magnetic.” This song is the first K-pop debut song to enter Billboard’s main song chart, “Hot 100” (dated April 20) and the UK’s “Official Singles Top 100” (dated April 5). In addition, it has been on Billboard’s “Global (excluding US)” and “Global 200” for 25 consecutive weeks, and is maintaining the upper ranks of major domestic music weekly charts such as Genie, Melon, and Bugs.
