The Air Defense team won the Iraq Club Championship title in the advanced and junior categories, while the Airlines won the youth category title, which was held on the Tigris River with the participation of 14 clubs. Competitions took place in singles and doubles boats, a distance of 2000 meters for advanced and youth, and a distance of 1000 meters for juniors.

The head of the Central Rowing Federation, Abdul Salam Khalaf, told Al-Sabah newspaper, followed by the (INA): “The results of the advanced races resulted in Air Defense taking first place with 12 points, Adhamiya second with 11 points, and Al-Ahlyat third with 9 points, while Al-Ahlyat won the title of the youth and combined category competitions.” 12 points, and Air Defense came in second with 11 points, and Al-Kadhimiya in third with 9 points. As for the junior results, first place went to Air Defense with 12 points, and Al-Suniya Club came in second place with 9 points, and Al-Adl Club came in third with 7 points.
He added, “The individual races witnessed the emergence of young players who achieved good results despite their first participation, and great hopes will be placed on them to strengthen the ranks of the national teams during the upcoming external competitions,” explaining that the results witnessed Bakr Shehab from Adhamiya winning first place, secondly Mohamed Riad from Air Defense, and thirdly Omar Ismail. From the airlines, and within the advanced doubles event, the players Muhammad Riyad and Ezz El-Din Abdel Salam from the Air Defense won first place, and Mohammed Karim and Omar Ismail from the airlines came second, and third was Mohammed Jaafar and Bakr Shehab from Adhamiya.
He pointed out that “the youth singles competitions recorded the victory of Mustafa Nabil from the airlines in first place, secondly Islam Ali from Al-Kadhimiya, and thirdly Hassan Ali Fawzi from the air defense. In the doubles category, the players Ahmed Ibrahim and Hassan Ali from the air defense were crowned in first place, and Haider Shawqi and Mustafa Nabil from the airlines in second place and third. Islam Ali and Iyad Dalaf from Al-Kadhimiya. In the junior singles category, Ahmed Ibrahim from the Air Defense came first, Ali Saeed from Al-Tarmiyah came second, and third was Saif Abdel Hamza from Al-Suniya Club. In the junior doubles competition, the players Ahmed Ibrahim and Hassan Ali from the Air Defense won first place, and in second place were Youssef Walid and Youssef.
