Air India: The new CEO who refused to accept the post

by time news

New Delhi: Ilker IC, the newly appointed CEO of Air India, has reportedly turned down the post.

The Central Government of India formally handed over Air India to the Tata Sons Group last January.

Following this, the Tata Group is taking steps to make various changes in Air India.

Under it, Ilker IC has been appointed as the new CEO and Managing Director of Air India.

Ilker IC, a former chairman of Turkish Airlines, is also close to Turkish President Erdogan.

Therefore, various parties objected that his appointment should not be approved by the Central Government.

Indigenous Jagran Munch, one of the RSS affiliates in particular, insisted that the federal government should not approve it out of concern for the country’s security.

Ilker IC was to take over as the new CEO of Air India on April 1.
