Airbus and Cellnex reinforce their collaboration in mission-critical communications |

Airbus y Cellnex have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bolster your collaboration on mission-critical and business-critical communications.

Specifically, under the terms of the agreement, Airbus will provide end-user organizations, both public and private, with critical communication solutions through the Agnet platform, which enables voice, video and image transmission, in addition to other additional functions.

Cellnex, for its part, will offer its portfolio of sites to place equipment and will provide deployment, operation and maintenance services for networks and applications.

Thus, Airbus will be able to address the communication needs of different segments, such as public security organizations, airports, health, public services and the energy sector in various European countries, among others.

The aeronautical manufacturer will be able to make use of Cellnex’s portfolio of sites, connectivity solutions and service offerings for mission-critical private networks, and will be present in those countries where the company has not yet introduced its advanced collaboration technology.

Both companies indicate in a statement that they hope to gain positioning and leadership in the market through intelligent solutions to meet the needs of business communication and public safety.

“The agreement will allow us to further address the communication needs of key vertical segments, such as public safety agencies, airports, healthcare, services and the energy sector. Together with Cellnex and using our Agnet solution, we will support companies in their technological evolution”, said Eric Davalo, head of the European region of Airbus Secure Land Communications.

For his part, the global director of Mission Critical and Private Networks at Cellnes Telecom, Mikko Uusitalo, highlighted that they are proud to work with Airbus and are looking forward to contributing to the transformation of the market thanks to a more profitable communication solution”.
