jpnn.comJAKARTA – PDI Perjuangan officially nominated Airin Rachmi Diany after the Constitutional Court (MK) ruling regarding the nomination threshold was used as a reference in the 2024 Pilkada.
Airin Rachmi Diany is running in the Banten gubernatorial election paired with the Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan DPD, Ade Sumardi.
The symbolic handover of support was given directly by the Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan DPP, Ahmad Basarah.
“We have declared the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of Banten from the PDI Perjuangan,” Ade told JPNN, Sunday (25/8).
According to Ade, after the declaration, he and Airin are just waiting for the handover of the B1 KWK.
“So, B1 KWK will be handed over directly to the General Chairwoman of the PDI Perjuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri,” he said.
Airin Rachmi added that after the declaration, her party would prepare to register with the Banten Province General Election Commission (KPU).
“So, I, bismillah, together with Mr. Ade Sumardi, God willing, will register in the near future,” he said.
The PDI Perjuangan has finally nominated Airin Rachmi Diany-Ade Sumardi in the 2024 Banten Regional Election.
