Airtel has completed the network strengthening work. Airtel has allocated additional spectrum of 5 MHz on the 1800 MHz band and 4 MHz on the 900 MHz band. This allocation is expected to significantly increase the capacity of Airtel’s 5G and 4G networks, improving data speeds and providing better coverage inside buildings in urban and rural areas.
On Wednesday, Bharti Airtel said, “The allocation of spectrum has now been completed, and as a result, customers in Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Alwar, Sikar, Pali and other areas will be able to enjoy good quality service for voice and data.”
According to the company, the upgraded network will not only improve the quality of voice and data services but also expand coverage on highways, railway routes and rural areas, where demand for connectivity is growing.
Commenting on the network upgrade, Airtel said, “With the integration of this new spectrum, customers across the state can now enjoy improved call connectivity, faster data speeds and overall performance. We are committed to Rajasthan and will continue to invest in technologies that will help enhance the service experience for our customers.”
Bharti Airtel acquired a total of 97 MHz spectrum in the latest auction, which includes reclaiming the expired spectrum, expanding the sub-GHz spectrum and efficiently consolidating its fragmented spectrum blocks into continuous spectrum. Airtel is constantly working on strengthening its network. But on the other hand, there is also the opposite. After the recharge plans became expensive, users have also ported from Airtel. Many users were moving towards BSNL.
