‘La Voz Kids’ returns with the search for little new talents. Antena 3 premieres this Saturday night (10:00 p.m.) the seventh edition of the children’s version of the successful musical format, the fourth since it was broadcast on the Atresmedia network, with a batch of blind auditions in which each ‘ coach’ –David Bisbal, Aitana, Sebastián Yatra and Rosario Flores- will select fifteen applicants to form their own team of contestants. The space, audience leader in its previous season, will compete on Saturday nights with another of the great spring television premieres: ‘Got talent: All-stars’, on Telecinco.
In a meeting with the media, the presenter Eva González reveals how surprised she is always with this ‘kids’ version of the contest. “Sometimes I forget that I am dealing with children because of those impressive voices they have,” says the Andalusian, who also anticipates some of the great moments of the new installments, such as the reunion between the ‘coach’ David Bisbal and his adviser , the winner of the first ‘Operación Triunfo’, Rosa López. «They have given us authentic fits of laughter that we could not hold back. I couldn’t continue doing the program and neither could David, because Rosa has given us some amazing moments, “she reveals.
In this regard, the singer from Almería wanted to share with the press his experience with whoever his partner was more than two decades ago in the musical ‘talent’ that made them famous. “With Rosa there has not been any reunion, because we are always found,” underlines the artist, who assures that he called the singer herself to propose that she be her adviser on ‘La Voz Kids’. «I am very happy and proud to have invited her. I called her and she told me ‘you’re not going to regret it’”, he jokes. Bisbal is also proud of the level that the participants who take part in this format have each year. «How is it possible that with the number of editions we have recorded, extraordinary voices and increasingly prepared children come out? It really is difficult to choose, but it tells you that we are improving every year and it is important to show it, “he says.
The four ‘coaches’
«Every year the number of talented children is impressive, wanting to come and be artists. There is an illusion in the environment that you like and feel the music, “says the singer Rosario, who returns to the format after a year of absence, and does so with La Mari de Chambao as adviser. Of her, the daughter of Lola Flores remembers that she was delighted to participate for the first time in the space broadcast on Antena 3. «It has helped me a lot. I love her and she is a piece of artist », she is sincere.
For her part, Aitana Ocaña also returns to ‘La Voz Kids’ to assess the contestant children and will coincide again with Sebastián Yatra, who repeats as ‘coach’ for the second consecutive year. Both will share the screen after the news of their courtship broke earlier this year. However, during the recording of the format in 2022, the singers had not yet made their relationship official, although they did show on camera the complicity they maintain derived from their more than five years of friendship, since they met in ‘Operación Triunfo 2017 ‘.
In this context, Aitana dedicated some kind words to the singer and songwriter Dani Fernández, who will help her as an advisor. About the winner of the Ondas 2022 Award, the artist confesses her admiration and how much she has connected with him. «There are many hours recording. I had never spent a lot of time with him to know him personally and I feel like we have connected so much. We were very natural and that is what we embodied in children », she reveals. Her current partner and partner, Sebastián Yatra, also shared praise for the program team, especially for her presenter. “You are the core and center of this family. You keep the program with high energy and we feel very well supported. It is not so common to find that on television », she affirms about Eva González. For her part, Rayden will be the adviser to the Colombian artist.
The Director of Entertainment at Atresmedia Televisión, Carmen Ferreiro, describes that ‘La Voz Kids’ is a “fantastic” format that has something that other similar spaces do not have, which “is the talent, tenderness and capacity for surprise that the children”, the “great protagonists”. “We always like to say that there is a lot of talent in Spain, but until you see those little ones on this set so big that it intimidates any adult, you don’t realize everything they are capable of doing,” underlines the directive, which celebrates at the same time that many of the participants later have a musical tour outside the Antena 3 contest, as is the case of the last Spanish representative in Eurovision Junior, Carlos Higes.
