The international acknowledgments continue for Barça after proclaiming themselves champion of the Champions League this Saturday in Eindhoven. A few hours after the end, UEFA has named Aitana Bonmatí the best player of the tournament and included six Barça players in the ideal eleven it’s from the season.
The Barça ’14’ adds yet another recognition to her talent on the green and, just a few hours after Barça landed in Barcelona with the trophy for their second Champions League, Bonmatí has been recognized by the UEFA as the best player of this season at European level. She has been chosen by the UEFA Technical Observers panel after topping the assists and goal participation rankings this season.

Six culés in the ideal eleven
The same UEFA committee that has named Aitana as the best player in the championship, has designated this season’s ideal eleven. Lucy Bronze, Irene Paredes, Mapi León, Patri Gujarro, Aitana Bonmatí and Caroline Graham Hansen They are part of it along with four players from Wolsfburg (Merle Frohms, Alexandra Popp, Ewa Pajor and Lena Oberdorf) and one from Arsenal (Katie McCabe).
