Aitana Bonmatí, Barcelona and Spanish national team player, has been selected as the second best footballer in the world in 2023 behind the English goalkeeper Mary Earpsdel Manchester United.
Earps was voted best by fans, after a panel of experts, which included coaches, players and journalists, chose the five candidates: Bonmatí, Sam Kerr (Chelsea), Fridolina Rolf (Barcelona), and Alexandra Popp (Wolfsburg).
