It has been officially announced that actor Ajith Kumar has created a new record abroad with Thadhavu.
Director H. Vinod, producer Boney Kapoor and Ajith’s third film, Thadvu, was released in a grand way around the world on the occasion of Pongal.
The film opened to mixed reviews and opened at the theaters for the 8th day in a row. It has been reported that they have collected more than Rs.150 crore so far.
Sarikama Cinemas, which released the film, has officially announced that Thadvu has collected a million dollars (Rs. 8.16 crore in Indian currency) in North America alone.
This makes Thadvu the first Ajith film to join the million club.
