CHENNAI: ‘Thunivu’ is a film directed by Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor. Starring Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier. Niravsha has the cinematography and Gibran composes the music. The story is set in a bank robbery in Anna Road, Chennai. Scenes inside the bank were shot on stage. They decided to shoot only the exterior scenes at Anna Road. Accordingly, the shooting took place in front of the LIC building on Anna Road from early yesterday morning. It starred Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier.
Both Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier brought their faces with a small cloth for the shoot. Only when the scene was filmed did they remove the cloth covering their faces and act. After the scene was over, they covered their faces again. Meanwhile, a large number of fans gathered after learning about the shooting of Ajith Kumar’s film at Anna Saali. The police controlled them. Due to this, there was a heavy traffic jam on Anna Road.
