“The opinion of the National Institute of Forensic Medicine regarding the findings of the examination of hair samples from the murder scene of the late Tair Rada, given the existing evidentiary infrastructure, and taking into account the nature of mitochondrial DNA vision, on the face of it the evidential value of the new evidence is limited. “The State Attorney’s Office is studying the opinion, and among other things is examining the possibility of consulting additional experts in this matter, in order to establish the possible meanings of the opinion and their implications,” the State Attorney’s Office said in a press release.
