Akabani assures that he is available to the new Federal administration

Fadlala Akabani, head of the Secretariat​ of Economic ​Development (Sedeco) in the⁣ Mexico City, stated that his tenure in‌ the capital is coming to an end with the current administration. However,‍ he affirmed that he will remain at the service of the ⁤incoming Mexican Government.

“I ‌am a soldier of the⁢ 4T and I will be wherever​ the new Federal administration decides at the time,” Akabani said, referring to the ​possibility of future opportunities within the Mexican Government. In the capital, he has already completed ⁢his assigned cycle.

A few months before the end of the ⁢current administration, the head of‍ Sedeco expressed satisfaction with ‌the achievements of his agency, alongside his team.

Akabani highlighted significant accomplishments during his⁢ tenure, including record-breaking training programs for citizens, the opening of galleries and businesses in Mexico City, increased foreign investment, and the ‍rehabilitation of Vallejo, alongside the construction‌ of an ‍Information and Technology Development Center and two ⁣industrial waste transfer centres in the ‌capital’s​ north.

He also ​emphasized ongoing efforts to⁤ strengthen the economic ⁣structure‍ of⁢ the city, evidenced by the entity’s first place in formal⁣ employment generation and its lowest unemployment rate in the ​country’s history.

“We are very​ happy and satisfied with ​the achievements, and it ‍was demonstrated; likewise, the election also ‌qualified us, then they gave us a ‘yes’ to this government and this administration,” ⁤Akabani said.
