Kochi: About 4,000 kg of gold was reportedly sold in the state on the third day of Akshaya yesterday. According to the All Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants’ Association (AKGSMA), the gold trade in Kerala is estimated at around Rs 2,000-2,250 crore. According to reports, gold trade worth about Rs 15,000 crore took place across India yesterday.
Akshaya Tritiya is considered to be the auspicious day to buy gold jewelery. The country’s highest one-day trade takes place on Akshaya Tritiya. Gold prices fell to a one-month low of Rs. Offers related to Akshaya Tritiya also aroused the market.
Due to the restrictions imposed by Kovid 19 in 2020 and 2021, the Akshaya Tertiary business was conducted online.
