by time news

Member of Parliament Ammar Al-Ablaq said that the announcement by the President of the High Electoral Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, of the Commission’s readiness to conduct the elections comes in the event that a constitutional rule and election laws have been achieved and the national number system has been reviewed, then the Commission is ready in terms of the presence of a sufficient number of qualified employees and material capabilities.

Al-Ablaq added, in a statement to Panorama, that securing the ballot boxes is one of the tasks of the Ministry of the Interior. The security services ensure the security of the electoral process, which will ensure the transparency and smoothness of the electoral process and the smooth functioning of the performance inside the centers until the results are announced.

The member of the House of Representatives believed that the role of the High Electoral Commission is an executive role in conducting elections, and the case of force majeure is linked to issues outside the scope of its duties.
