Atletico Madrid wants to sign one of Al-Ahly Jeddah’s stars during the last days of the current summer transfer window.
According to the website “Football Spain”, Atletico Madrid is still looking to sign another midfielder this summer, at the request of coach Diego Simeone.
The Spanish website indicated that Atletico Madrid was linked with signing Matheus Nunez from Manchester City, in addition to Luis Milla from Getafe.
In the same context, Fabrizio Romano, the transfer market expert, revealed that Atletico Madrid inquired about the possibility of signing Jabiri Vega from Al-Ahly Jeddah.
Romano explained that the result of this inquiry is still unknown, especially since Vega moved to the Saudi League only last summer.
It is noteworthy that Vega played with Al-Ahly Jeddah in only 23 matches, during which he scored 4 goals and made the same number of assists.
