The board of directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank (MTB), a listed company in the banking sector of the capital market, has declared a 15 percent dividend for shareholders. Out of this 10 percent cash and 5 percent bonus dividend.
The board of directors of the company has decided to pay this dividend to the shareholders after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended on December 31, 2023. As a result, the shareholders will get a cash dividend of 1 taka against every 10 taka worth of shares.
On Sunday (April 28), this information was revealed on the website of Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
According to the information, the annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on August 18 to approve the declared dividend to the shareholders. The record date for this has been fixed on June 9.
The consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of the company for the financial year ended was Rs.2.14. The company’s profit per share was Rs 1.89 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
Consolidated Net Operating Cash Flow per Share (NOCFPS) of the company was Tk 0.50 during the financial year under review. During the same period in the previous financial year, the company’s NOCFPA was Rs.9.98.
The company’s consolidated net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Rs 22.63 during the reporting period. In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
