Al-Araji and an American official discuss security partnership after the end of the international coalition mission

Today, Tuesday, National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji discussed with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Daniel Shapiro deepening the security partnership, especially after the end of the international coalition mission.

The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji received in his office the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Daniel Shapiro, in the presence of the US Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski.”
The statement added that “the meeting discussed developing bilateral relations at the strategic level and deepening the security partnership, especially after the end of the international coalition mission, in addition to discussing ensuring the continuation of the war on terrorism by preventing its human, financial and media sources of funding, and urging countries to withdraw their nationals and close the Syrian Al-Hawl camp.”
