The head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, said that the army would fight the Rapid Support Forces “until they finish or we finish.”
Al-Burhan continued during a video speech today, Friday: “There is no reconciliation or agreement with the Rapid Support Forces, and the politicians who concluded an agreement with the Rapid Support Forces made a mistake by talking to the rebels.”
The head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, announced, “Arming the popular resistance with any weapon we have,” and continued, saying, “We will not prevent the Sudanese resistance from bringing any weapons,” indicating that “there is no reconciliation or agreement with the Rapid Support.”
Last Tuesday, the Rapid Support Militia and the Democratic Civil Forces Coordination (Progress) announced the signing of the “Addis Ababa” Declaration to work to stop the war in the country.
