Al-Dabaiba receives the president and five members of the municipal council

The Prime⁤ minister⁣ of ‍the National Unity Government, Abdul⁢ Hamid Al-Dabaiba, received ⁤the President and​ members of the Municipal Council⁤ in​ Al-Khoms and a number ‌of city notables, in ​the ​presence of the Ministers of Transportation and the Minister of State for⁢ Prime Minister’s Affairs and the directors of the executive ⁤agencies.

Al-Dabaiba stressed, “the city’s role throughout history in stabilizing Libya, praising the national efforts made to return​ the fifth ‌to its real role in the city’s political and social scene. He also stressed the need to support national efforts in drafting the constitution, ⁣issuing ‌electoral ⁢laws, and ending the transitional stages.”

Al-Dabaiba ⁤praised “the efforts of the executive agencies‌ to activate more than 98 development projects, including schools, hospitals, water, secondary and ​main roads, along with developing the coastal road, which​ is of great importance to the city.”

Al-Dabaiba stressed “the need to work seriously in implementing Law No. 59 of 2012 regarding activating local administration‌ and transferring sectoral competencies.”

The notables also expressed their thanks to the National Unity Government for ⁢the‌ development movement taking place in the‌ city, the most importent of which is activating the project ​to establish 14 schools,‌ 7 of which have been received,⁣ and work is underway on 18 other schools within an approved plan that includes ⁣25 schools‌ within the “Return to Life” plan, in addition to developing and equipping the complex clinic. Al-Khoms, development of al-Khoms hospital, and secondary and main ‌road projects.”
