The components of the Moroccan Social Front commended the decision to arrest Mohamed Mebdia, Mayor of the Fakih Bensalah Municipality, by the Public Prosecution Office of the Court of Appeal in Casablanca, along with his co-defendants, and to investigate them in the acts attributed to them, which are of a criminal nature.

And the components of the Front demanded, in a meeting it held to discuss issues of concern to the residents of the region, to confiscate all financial and real estate property obtained as a result of the actions attributed to them and to return them to the benefit of the state, in order to finance real development projects, which the residents of al-Faqih bin Saleh were deprived of, according to the communication.

The communication stressed the need to fight corruption in all its manifestations and manifestations, and to confront the looters of public money, in implementation of the principle of linking responsibility to accountability, and imposing a punishment that is appropriate to the criminal act they committed, stressing that this is “the guarantee for the moralization of public life, the advancement of development programs and the building of a state of right and law, and deterrence Everyone who has set himself the goal of attacking public money.”

It also demanded research and investigations, with everyone who has a relationship, from near or far, with the file of embezzlement known to the municipality of Faqih bin Saleh, determining criminal responsibilities, and revealing everyone who was covering up and protecting the corrupt.

The front’s components called on the region’s worker to take isolation measures against the head of the Urban Council, Faqih Ben Saleh, in accordance with the powers vested in him by law, and stipulated in Organizational Law 113-14, especially Article 64, the second paragraph thereof, due to the judicial proceedings currently underway against him, “until The interests of citizens are not hindered, and also in order to respect and protect the rule of law, from every transgression or recklessness, and to achieve justice.
