Al Hamriyah Municipality Completes Third Phase of Arqoub Industrial Area Work

Municipal authorities in Al Hamriyah have completed the third phase of infrastructure preparation in the Arqoub Industrial Area, finishing earthwork grading, road leveling, and waste removal to improve local service capacity and support sustainable development.

The Al Hamriyah Municipality announced the successful completion of the third phase of land grading and dirt road preparation in the Arqoub Industrial Area. The project was carried out in cooperation and coordination with the Al Hamriyah Municipal Council alongside multiple government and service authorities according to local reporting. Work crews finished surveying, equipping, and leveling dirt tracks, alongside grading and maintaining open spaces and plots.

Operations also focused on clearing agricultural waste and unidentified construction debris from the sites. The municipality emphasized that its field teams and technical personnel utilize dedicated equipment and machinery to execute required tasks efficiently. This continuous fieldwork aims to enhance the overall infrastructure of the region while catering directly to the needs of the local community.

Agencies Collaborate to Protect Industrial Zone Infrastructure

Executing the third phase required close cooperation among several regional entities.

Specialized teams managing water, electricity, and gas networks collaborated to ensure that grading and site preparation complied with approved technical standards. Officials emphasized that this multi-agency approach protected existing infrastructure and utility paths throughout the industrial zone.

Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, director of the Al Hamriyah Municipality, stated that finishing the third phase aligns with the municipality and municipal council’s objective to continuously develop the Arqoub Industrial Area and elevate its service readiness through structured plans and clear timelines.

“The Al Hamriyah Municipality, through its technical and field teams, equipment, and machinery, is working to carry out the required tasks efficiently and swiftly, while ensuring prior coordination with the competent authorities to guarantee the safety of existing facilities and services, and to achieve the highest levels of readiness in the targeted locations, in a manner that keeps pace with the aspirations of the people of Al Hamriyah and supports quality of life and sustainable development in the city,” Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi told Sharjah24.

Al Shamsi noted that the project shows how strategic partners must share roles and confirmed that operations will continue to complete remaining phases according to the approved plan, meeting top technical and organizational standards.
