Al Haouz: Continuation of the operation of payment of the first tranche of financial aid dedicated to the reconstruction of housing affected by the earthquake
Asni commune (Al Haouz province) – The operation of paying the first tranche of financial aid relating to the reconstruction of housing that collapsed completely or partially following the Al Haouz earthquake continued on Tuesday in the commune of Asni (Al Haouz province), as in other disaster-stricken regions, for the benefit of affected families whose lists have been drawn up.
This financial aid for the reconstruction of collapsed housing will be allocated in 4 tranches, including an amount of 20,000 DH which will be paid in the first tranche.
Families benefiting from this aid are required to submit their files relating to reconstruction permits to the local authorities to which they belong. The families concerned by this operation will also benefit from technical assistance, through the provision of model architectural plans respecting the specificities of the region.
In statements to MAP, many beneficiaries from several douars in the commune of Asni expressed their deep gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the High Solicitude with which the Sovereign surrounds the populations of the areas affected by the earthquake of September 8.
They also welcomed the efforts made by the local authorities, who are ensuring the smooth running of this operation, which is part of the efforts aimed at alleviating the effects of the earthquake on the affected populations.
In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, the government is granting direct financial aid of 140,000 dirhams for completely collapsed housing and 80,000 dirhams to cover the rehabilitation work of partially collapsed housing.
