This action, which supports initiatives targeting populations in precarious situations in this predominantly rural province, took place in the presence of the governor of the province, Rachid Benchikhi, the president of the Provincial Council, parliamentarians and local elected officials, heads of external services, local authorities and presidents of associations responsible for the management of Dour Al Omouma (Maternity Homes).
These are 8 ambulances with a total value of 3.67 million DH, 4 of which were handed over to the territorial municipalities of Ouazguita, Azgour, Aït Sidi Daoud and Imgdal, as part of the program to reduce social and territorial disparities in rural areas.
The other four vehicles, the acquisition of which was financed under program 4 of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) “Impulse of the human capital of rising generations”, were handed over to the associations responsible for the management of Dour Al Oumouma in Asni, Touama, Talat N’Yacoub and Amizmiz.
This action aims to strengthen the provision of care and medical services at the provincial level, and to facilitate the transfer of the sick and injured to hospitals and health centers.
The province of Al Haouz also witnessed the launch and inauguration of several development projects on the occasion of the celebration of the 24th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Throne of His glorious ancestors.
Thus, construction work on a court of first instance and the family justice section was launched in Tahanaout, for a total cost of 64.3 million DH.
Work to strengthen the road network in several rural municipalities was also launched in order to ensure smooth traffic flow and improve the quality of road signs, given the proximity of the targeted municipalities (Aghbalou, Sti Fadma and Ourika) to the Oukaïmeden Ski Resort.
In the field of education, the educational infrastructure in the province has been strengthened with the inauguration of a college high school in the center of Imlil, carried out for an investment estimated at 9.66 million DH.
