Under the title “Morocco recovers after devastating earthquake”, the news portal notes that “the response to this disaster was immediate and crisis management mechanisms quickly came into action to provide the necessary aid and assistance”.
The guidelines established under the leadership of the Sovereign served as the basis for the implementation of a carefully planned, integrated, ambitious and multi-sectoral program aimed at providing a solid, coherent, rapid and proactive response to the disaster, notes the electronic media, detailing the broad outlines of this program with an estimated budget of 12 billion euros over five years.
“Daily News Hungary” also focuses on the extraordinary surge of solidarity of Moroccan citizens and civil society during and after the earthquake, noting that “these spontaneous reactions from all segments of Moroccan society are living proof of the importance of authentic Moroccan values in overcoming adversity.”
On another note, the Hungarian media outlet looks at the reform of social protection and the implementation of the direct social assistance program, a large-scale social protection project that aims to strengthen family cohesion and social protection by addressing different sections of society, and which constitutes the “pillar of the Kingdom’s social and development model.”
In addition, a new housing assistance program will be implemented over the period 2024-2028, aimed at renewing the approach to assistance for home ownership and supporting household purchasing power, through direct financial assistance, the media outlet notes, emphasizing the inclusive nature of this program extended to all Moroccans residing in the country or abroad.
