He said: “We may have to set a mandatory price for meat, as the price of lamb should not exceed 55 dinars, while it is sold for 70 dinars per kilogram, and if the large merchants in the first place do not go for a reduction, the small merchants will not reduce,” adding: “We must work.” To prevent the export of imported goods.”

He added: “We have not decided to lift support yet, and we have not moved, whether as the Ministry of Economy or the Unity Government, towards lifting it yet, as it is a matter that requires study and a public opinion poll before undertaking it.”

He said: “After setting the weight of bread at 100 grams, we noticed that some bakeries started tipping the scale and not following the specifications,” adding: “When setting the price, we conducted a study and confirmed their profit. They are still in a state of profit even when selling 5 loaves of 100 grams for one dinar.” one”.

He added: “After the price of a quintal of flour reached 280-300 dinars last year, it fell to 220 this year, and despite that, bakeries are still selling 4 and 3 loaves of loaves for one dinar.”

Al-Hawaij said: “We will go to the bakeries to study the situation again, and we will weigh the bread and study the prices with the specifications and confirm whether the prices are appropriate or not.”
