Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya team defeated its guest, Turkmenistan’s Altyn Asyr team, on Wednesday evening, in the first round of Group Two in the 2024-2025 AFC Champions League.

The match took place at 9 pm at the city’s international stadium and ended in favor of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya with a score of 2-1.
The first half ended in a goalless draw, with clear control by Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
In the second half, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya scored its first goal in the 50th minute through professional Carlos Enrique, and in the 70th minute, Al-Tin Asir scored the equalizing goal. Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya managed to score the lead goal through substitute Hiran Azad with a powerful shot in the 88th minute. The match witnessed the expulsion of Al-Tin Asir player in the 90+5th minute.
