/ The administrative body of Al-Karkh Sports Club confirmed, on Thursday, its adherence to the football team coach, Ahmed Abdul-Jabbar, while thanking the assistant Haider Obaid and the goalkeeper coach, Abdul-Karim Naem.
The club’s president, Karim Hamadi, said in a statement received by Shafak News Agency, “The administration rejected the resignation of coach Ahmed Abdul-Jabbar and is committed to him continuing with the team.”
Hamadi added, “The administration extends its thanks and appreciation to the assistant Haider Obaid and the goalkeeping coach Abdul Karim Naim, for the efforts they made during their work period with the team, after accepting their resignation in response to their wishes.”
Al-Karkh Football Club is ranked 16th in the league table, after the end of the 12th round, with 11 points.
