Representative in the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, continued his inspection visits to the military staff and security services affiliated with the Presidential Council “to determine the progress of work therein and to overcome the difficulties facing them with his visit today, Thursday, to the headquarters of the Presidential Guard.”
The representative met with “officials in the agency, who assigned it the tasks assigned to it in securing and protecting dignitaries, presidential and sovereign headquarters, public institutions and vital targets.”
The representative stressed, “that the Presidential Guard represents the prestige of the Libyan state, and the Presidential Council’s continued support for the agency as it is one of the agencies recognized for its competence and professionalism. He stressed the importance of holding competency-raising courses for the agency’s members and developing plans and training programs aimed at qualifying its cadres at home and abroad in vital specializations within the tasks assigned to it.” .
He also stressed “the necessity of providing the agency with the necessary capabilities for its members, and working to graduate well-qualified groups in protection and insurance whose loyalty is to God and then to the homeland.”
The agency’s members considered that “the representative’s visit is a moral boost to making more efforts in coordination with other security agencies with the aim of extending security and achieving stability.”
The representative, accompanied by the head of the agency and its officials, also made an inspection tour of a number of escorts.
During the tour, he was received by the head of the agency, Mashallah Abdullah Al-Tair, and a number of the agency’s leaders, including officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers.
