Baghdad – IA
Today, Tuesday, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called on the international community to take its role in stopping the Zionist war on Gaza and Lebanon.

The media office of the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement, received by the (INA), that “The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received the United Kingdom’s ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hitchen.”
The statement added, “During the meeting, they discussed the political and security situation, the latest security developments in the region, and the extent of the threat facing all its countries, after the Zionist entity continued to expand its attacks and crimes that affected Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.”
Al-Mandalawi warned of “the consequences of the Zionist entity ignoring the resolutions of the Security Council and international organizations, and the appeals of countries demanding an end to the war, which by all standards has turned into crimes of genocide against the residents of safe cities, and an excuse to target religious and political symbols.”
Al-Mandalawi called on “the international community to take its role in stopping this war, on which the fate of the foreign relations of many countries, including Iraq, will depend, especially towards those who support the Zionist entity,” stressing “the continuation of Iraq’s tendencies in support of regional peace and its rejection of conflicts in all their forms.”
