/ The management of Al-Zawraa Sports Club announced on Tuesday that it had accepted the sudden resignation of its football team coach, the Egyptian Hossam Al-Badri, due to his lack of success with the “Seagulls”.
The team manager and member of the club’s management, Abdul Karim Abdel Razzaq, told Agency, “The club management received the sudden resignation of Egyptian coach Hossam Al-Badri. They did not ask him to resign, but rather he was the one who initiated it.”
He added, “The administration agreed to resign in respect of the coach’s wishes,” noting that “the coach bid farewell to the players after training and assured them that he would not continue to lead the team as of today.”
Abdel Razzaq pointed out that “the club management thanked coach Hossam Al-Badri for his effort in leading the team during the first stage of the Iraq Stars League.”
On the other hand, the assistant coach of Al-Karkh Club, Ahmed Abdel-Jabbar, submitted his resignation to the club’s management following the end of his team’s match with Al-Talaba today, which ended in a positive 1-1 draw, without mentioning the reasons.
