Beirut, Nov 6 The correspondent of the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen in occupied Jerusalem, Hana Mahameed, today denounced Israeli threats and pressure in the context of the aggression against the Gaza Strip.

According to her story, she was subjected to an organized campaign that took place after an attempt to make her receive a postal envelope when a group of journalists and settlers ambushed her and accused her of carrying out a field investigation.

“They chased me to my car, prevented me from getting in and threatened me,” the reporter told the news network, who also filmed what happened with her mobile phone.

At the same time, he specified that the attack is part of a systematic Israeli policy of intimidation against all Palestinians.

“He establishment Zionist is trying to prevent any narrative that opposes theirs,” he emphasized.

On this issue, he indicated that since the first day of the bombing of Gaza, it has been exposed to a campaign of incitement at all levels.

In this sense, he pointed out that the Israeli media acts like the army and fully adopts its statements without transmitting what really happened on the ground.

In this regard, he considered that the Tel Aviv press reached a great degree of decadence to the point of being an example of the absence of values of the Zionist entity.

“We work within the legal limits of our profession and only expose the crimes of the occupation,” he said.

Incidentally, he denounced the restrictions on the exercise of the profession due to Israeli persecution and the limited areas allowed to work by the regime authorities.

Mahameed described as false the pretexts and lies that the Israeli government maintains about its professional responsibilities.

Previously, the director of the office of Al Mayadeen In the West Bank, Nasser Al-Laham confirmed that Israeli forces broke into his home in Bethlehem and attacked his wife and children.

Also, the member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council in Jenin, Jamal Haweel, abandoned a television appearance to Al Mayadeen after receiving a call from Israeli intelligence.

In the face of these events, the pan-Arab network reaffirmed solidarity with its correspondents and colleagues, and adherence to their rights and protection. (Taken from Prensa Latina).
