Today, Monday, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, broadcast a video clip of an Israeli prisoner who received medical care after she was seriously injured in her right hand.
The video showed a member of the Al-Qassam Brigades wrapping a bandage on the hand of the Israeli prisoner, before she identified herself and said that she was 21 years old.
The prisoner praised the treatment of the Qassam personnel, and revealed that she underwent a 3-hour operation on her hand, and received the required care and medications.
She appealed to those concerned to return her to her family “as quickly as possible,” and concluded her speech by saying, “Please get us out of here.”
Minutes before the clip was published, Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Ubaida said that the number of Israeli prisoners held by the Palestinian resistance is between 200 and 250. Al-Qassam has about 200 prisoners and the rest are distributed among other resistance components.
