Al-Quds: Summer Schools Program Launches First Summer Camp for People with Special Needs

This is in fact the first summer camp of the program dedicated to people with special needs, members of the “Arab Association of People with Disabilities in Al-Quds”.

The holiday camp aims to raise awareness of the issue of people with specific needs, in particular their integration into society and strengthening their social inclusion.

The activities of this summer school program vary between education in personality-shaping values, with an open workshop on acquiring various skills, as well as tailor-made activities for this social category in which the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency has a particular interest.

The summer camp program is also marked by sports and recreational activities, such as basketball, interactive workshops and animation and entertainment sessions, under the supervision of specialized instructors.

The summer school program, sponsored by the “Children’s Club for Al-Quds” under the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, is being implemented for the benefit of more than 4,000 children, spread across 17 establishments, deployed in all the districts of the Holy City.

This year’s activities focus on educating the values ​​of shaping the child’s personality, honesty, perseverance and diligence to contribute to building society, while respecting family constants, preserving traditions and customs and protecting and preserving local identity.

The choice of schools was based on compliance with safety and security standards, in order to provide the beneficiary children, aged 6 to 14, with a stimulating environment that allows them to release their energy and reveal their talents in the fields of sport and art, through 150 art, theater and balance and intelligence games workshops, supervised by professional trainers.
