/ On Sunday, the chief of the Sadrist motion, Muqtada al-Sadr, opened what he described as a “donation door” worthy of Iraq’s status to the folks of Gaza, till the fifth day of the month of Ramadan.
He stated in a doc written in his handwriting, “As we strategy the month of God (the blessed month of Ramadan), I discover it incumbent on us Iraqis who’ve been and nonetheless are on the trail of resistance and rejection of occupation, vanity and colonialism… to face with our folks in (Gaza)… Gaza of pleasure and jihad. And persistence and sacrifice, by opening the door for donations to be delivered to Gaza to assist them of their jihad, fasting, breaking the quick, and offering them with the livelihood that the terrorist Zionists took away.”
He added, “All Iraqi brothers, with all their affiliations, should donate on the stage that fits Iraq’s status first and what fits our folks in (Gaza), for they’ve raised our heads of their resistance towards the occupation in (Al-Aqsa Flood) on the seventh of October to this present day.”
Al-Sadr concluded by saying, “So belief in God from right this moment till the fifth of the blessed month of Ramadan.”
