/ The Iraqi Police Judo Club team left, on Monday, for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to participate in the Arab Police Federation Championship.

The head of the Iraqi Judo Federation, Samir Al-Moussawi, told Agency, “The Iraqi police will represent Iraq in the Arab championship scheduled to start the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, in Egypt, with the wide participation of the Arab Police Federation.”

He added, “The Iraqi Police team includes the best players who are among the elite, and we expect that the team will achieve good results,” noting that “the team prepared well for the tournament in Baghdad and received support before participating in the tournament.”

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Abbas Al-Fariji won the silver medal in the under 81 kg competition in the Arab Judo Championship, which took place in Egypt in the city of New Alamein last year.
