Al-Sudani directs the adoption of the electronic system to obtain loans from the “Riyada” initiative

/ Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed, on Monday, Rafidain and Rashid Banks to adopt electronic submission to obtain loans for the youth “Riyada” initiative.

Al-Sudani’s media office stated in a statement received by Agency that the latter chaired a special meeting on the “Riyada” initiative, which included the directors of Rafidain and Rashid banks, and the Prime Minister’s advisor for the initiative. During the meeting, he directed to work on digitizing the loans for the “Riyada” initiative for youth, and making them electronic; in order to ensure more transparency and speed of completion.

He also urged the submission of the necessary proposals to facilitate the procedures for establishing small or micro businesses and companies, to ensure their continuity and sustainability, indicating that following up on the projects of the “Riyada” initiative is necessary to ensure the success of these projects and contribute to their sustainability.

Al-Sudani stressed the need to provide sufficient financial support for loans for youth projects participating in the “Riyada” initiative, and to take micro-projects into account in subsequent government budget schedules, stressing that digitizing project loans will contribute to marketing their products, whether locally or exporting products abroad, in line with the government’s goals of activating the private sector.
