The Minister of Interior in charge of the Government of National Unity, Imad Trabelsi, chaired a security meeting to follow up on the security performance in the directorates of Tripoli, its environs, and the Western Mountain.
The meeting discussed “the progress of the security performance of the directorates participating in the meeting by reviewing the statistics of crimes recorded during the first half of 2024, and the measures taken in this regard.”
The meeting also discussed “joint security cooperation and coordination between security directors to ensure the best security services for citizens.”
Al-Tarabulsi stressed, “The need to quickly complete the evidence collection reports, arrest the perpetrators, and refer them to the public prosecution offices in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code.”
The meeting was attended by the security directors of Tripoli, Al-Jafara, Janzour, Tajoura, the four districts, East of the Mountain, Central of the Mountain, North of the Mountain, West of the Mountain, the Director of the Office of the Minister of Interior, the Director of the Information and Documentation Center, and the Director of the Legal Affairs Department.
