Al-Zawraa stops training of its football team, dismisses two professionals and recruits new players

/ Al-Zawraa club management confirmed on Tuesday that it has started its mission to search for new players to support its football team with new faces that will serve its football after the winter transfers, indicating that it has chosen five professionals from whom the coach will choose three according to his conviction.

The club’s board member and team supervisor, Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq, told Agency, “The club’s board, in agreement with the team’s Egyptian coach, Hossam El-Badry, decided to dispense with some names in exchange for attracting new names of professionals to join the team during the winter transfers.”

He added, “The management found it necessary to make some changes in some positions after finding that important to improve the results in the upcoming rounds,” indicating that “Coach Hossam gave the team 10 days off after the decision to stop the league due to the team’s commitment to the Asian Championship, and then resume training.”

He confirmed that “the management, along with the coach, decided to dispense with two professionals, the Tunisian Iskandar Al-Shihi and the Syrian Mohammed Firas Arnaout, and agreed with its former star Alaa Abbas, and there are new names that will be included in the team’s lineup for the remainder of the Iraqi Premier League.”

Al-Zawraa team is in third place with 23 points, after the end of the 12th round of the Iraqi Premier League.
