/ The management of Al-Zawraa Sports Club announced on Friday that its former player Alaa Abbas will return to the ranks of the “Seagulls”, while the Al-Hodood team has signed a Brazilian player to compete with him in the Iraqi Stars Football League competitions.

Club management member Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq told Agency, “The striker Alaa Abbas ended his association with the Iranian Mazandaran Weavers Club by mutual consent, and the management agreed with him to return to the ranks of Al-Zawraa again during the winter transfers.”

After the end of round 12, Al-Zawraa is in third place with 23 points.

In this context, the Hodoud Club management contracted with Brazilian player Carlos Perino to represent Hodoud football during the winter transfers to strengthen the defense line.

Al-Hodood concluded his first deal in the winter transfer with midfielder Yasser Naeem, coming from Al-Minaa Club.
